Yes,
you have total control over who can see what information in your knowledge base. You can define this access for Groups of individuals or for specific internal or external users.
You can easily create Private knowledge base categories that by design can only contain Private or Special Private knowledge items, so there is no risk of accidentally publishing Private items for Public viewing.
